A new ultra-luxury hotel and residences is opening in Paris

The Maybourne Saint-Germain | Paris, France
The Maybourne Saint-Germain will be the brand’s first property in the French capital and its second in France, following the opening of The Maybourne Riviera on the Côte d’Azur
Luxury hotel group Maybourne has announced a new Parisian development, The Maybourne Saint-Germain, set to open in 2027 in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The project will include a 101-key hotel and Paris’ first branded residences, with 23 ultra-luxury apartments serviced by the hotel.
Located within the historic Îlot Saint-Germain, a landmark site dating back to the 17th century, the development will occupy a prominent position along the Rive Gauche between Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Dominique. Maybourne’s expansion into Paris marks its first property in the French capital and its second in France, following the opening of The Maybourne Riviera on the Côte d’Azur.
The property will feature 50 suites and 51 rooms arranged around a tranquil inner courtyard. Residents and guests will also have access to six dining and beverage venues, including a Japanese restaurant, a patisserie, and a Salon de Thé. A new wellness and longevity brand, Surrenne, will anchor the spa and health club facilities, with a 30-metre rooftop pool, fitness and beauty treatments, and immersive wellness programming. Residents will have exclusive access to a separate 25-metre indoor pool.
The 23 branded residences will be split across two streets, designed by two prominent French interior designers. Pierre-Yves Rochon will design seven residences along Rue Saint-Dominique, while Laura Gonzalez will oversee the interiors of 16 residences on Rue de l’Université. All residences will be fully serviced by the hotel.
According to Maybourne Co-CEO Gianluca Muzzi, the move into Paris is part of a broader strategy to expand in key global cities. “Paris, with its elegance and timeless style, is an ideal match for Maybourne’s vision of luxury hospitality,” he said. “This opening marks an exciting step in our strategy to grow selectively in key urban gateways around the world.”
Once open, The Maybourne Saint-Germain will join the brand’s portfolio of storied properties including Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory in London, and The Maybourne Beverly Hills.
