James Bond fans can travel in the footsteps of 007 on this series of private journeys by Black Tomato in partnership with EON Productions.
Fans of 007 can embark on a new limited-edition series of private trips curated by luxury travel company, Black Tomato, in partnership with EON Productions. The first itinerary takes travellers to see and experience remarkable destinations in Europe picked by Black Tomato and the James Bond team, including some of the franchise’s most longstanding location scouts.
Beginning in Bond’s home of London, guests will visit special destinations such as Chantilly, France, home to Europe’s oldest and most prestigious equestrian centre and Château de Chantilly, featured in A View to a Kill (1985).
A guided tour of the Race Horse Training Centre will uncover the daily training exercises of more than 2,500 thoroughbred horses, while the afternoon sees a horse riding excursion through the forest. Guests will then tour prominent filming locations within the Château, which was the lavish estate of villain Max Zorin in the film.
Another location highlight is Lake Como, inspired by Licence To Kill (1989) and Casino Royale (2006). Guests can water ski along the Moltrasio shoreline before boarding a private seaplane to take in bird’s eye vistas over Bellagio, Varenna, and Villa La Gaeta, SPECTRE agent Mr White’s lakeside home.
Travellers will obtain VIP access to Monaco’s Casino de Monte-Carlo, which features in GoldenEye (1995). They’ll receive a private lesson in the game of their choice, held in the private gambling rooms of the casino that are usually closed to the public.
‘We’re incredibly honoured to be working with the James Bond team in this first of its kind travel partnership for the 007 brand’, said Tom Marchant, co-founder, Black Tomato. ‘Curious by nature, it was important for us to take an inquisitive approach to this collaboration and in bringing to life the James Bond world, and we can’t wait to introduce this initial bold and breathtaking new itinerary to clients and discerning fans.’
The full itinerary will be revealed in March 2023, with trips available to reserve in late 2022.
