Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur – Exterior Lawn
The new luxury retreat on the outskirts of Jaipur blends royal Rajasthani design with curated cultural experiences
Anantara Hotels & Resorts has entered the Indian market with the opening of Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur, a new luxury property located approximately 30 minutes from Jaipur International Airport. Positioned just outside Rajasthan’s capital, the hotel brings together classical Indian architecture, contemporary design, and a range of cultural experiences.
The property draws inspiration from traditional Rajasthani palaces, incorporating carved jharokhas (bay windows), decorative chhajjas (overhangs), arches and shaded courtyards. Interiors balance heritage elements with a modern touch, with tikri glasswork, gold leafing and hand-carved woodwork in a neutral colour palette on show.

Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur features 150 guest rooms and suites. Premier and Deluxe Rooms highlight local craftsmanship through intricate detailing and rich textiles, while Deluxe Family Rooms cater to multi-generational travellers and suites offer expanded layouts and private outdoor spaces. The One-Bedroom Terrace Suite includes a jacuzzi and alfresco dining terrace, while the 173-square-metre Presidential Two-Bedroom Suite provides expansive indoor and outdoor living areas.
Executive Chef Sunil Jajoria oversees the hotel’s culinary offering, which focuses on regional Indian cuisine. The signature restaurant, Sheesh Mahal, references Jaipur’s Mirror Palace in both design and menu, offering Rajasthani dishes alongside global options. The cocktail menu features local twists on classics, such as masala chai-infused rum and spiced whisky sours. Other dining options include Amrit Mahal, an all-day venue with poolside seating, and Rajputana Chowk, a casual cafe. Guests can also book the Designer Dining by Anantara experience, which offers a private four-course meal served across four curated locations on the property.

The Anantara Spa offers a mix of Ayurvedic therapies and Thai wellness treatments, with five treatment rooms and a beauty salon on site. Signature treatments include fire therapy and couples’ rituals, while daily yoga sessions are held in the hotel’s gardens. A 24-hour fitness centre and an outdoor pool are also available.
The hotel offers a range of experiences that aim to connect guests with Rajasthan’s cultural heritage. There’s the onsite Royal Heritage Art Walk, which introduces guests to the hotel’s murals and Rang Mahal ballroom and is followed by a guided art session, and The Spice Spoons cooking class, which begins with a local market visit and finishes with a traditional Rajasthani meal. Off-site excursions include private safaris in Ranthambore National Park, visits to Amber Fort and Ranthambore Fort, and immersive village experiences such as pottery-making, turban-tying, and cow milking. The hotel can also arrange visits to Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village known for live folk performances and regional cuisine.
Room rates at Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur start from US$165 (around AU$263) per night, with bookings now open.
