A new luxury hotel is set to open in Laos’ capital of Vientiane this year.
AKARYN Hotel Group has announced come mid-2016 it will launch a new luxury city retreat, The President, in Vientiane, Laos.
With 30 rooms and suites, including two presidential suites, The President by AKARYN was inspired by its location between the House of Parliament, the Presidential Palace and Haw Phra Kaew – Vientiane’s temple of the Emerald Buddha.
The hotel’s design reflects the history of Laos, and blends original Laotian design with French Colonial influence, accented with luxury finished like white marble bathroom counters and brass fittings. A private butler is assigned to each room and suite.
The President will house an exclusive private member’s club, wine and whisky cellars, cigar lounge and a choice of seven dining options.
Other facilities include a fitness centre offering yoga and pilates and an Ayurah Wellness Centre, which will have a range of treatments based on the four pillars of Ayurah Wellness – weight optimisation, mind balance, anti-ageing and detoxification.
