Nestled in an ancient rainforest, The Datai Langkawi frames panoramic views of Datai Bay on the northwest tip of Langkawi Island. The luxury accommodation comprises 121 guest rooms, each immersed in the lush Langkawi tropical rainforest, a few boasting views of the Andaman Sea and Tarutao Island vista on the horizon. The accommodation has been categorised depending on its location on the site: The Canopy Collection, The Rainforest Collection and The Beach Collection. The Canopy Collection features one-bedroom guest suites in the main building, showcasing award-winning architecture and proximity to the Main Pool, Dining Room and Lobby Lounge. The Rainforest Collection include villas nestled with the vegetation and tropical rainforest that surrounding the estate. The Beach Collection accommodation is located on the pristine white-sand beach of Datai Bay, with each of the 13 one-bedroom beach villas and the two-bedroom beach villa enclosed with lush gardens, a private pool and full butler service.

The Datai Langkawi offers multiple dining experiences that honour culinary traditions from Malaysia and around the world. Award-winning restaurant, The Gulai House, serves authentic Malaysian cuisine. The Pavilion sits afloat in the canopy of virgin rainforest and dishes out traditional Thai cuisine nightly in an open-air setting. The dining room is positioned next to the Main Pool and is open for breakfast and lunch. The Beach Club and Bar comprises a lounge bar by the beach and a casual dining restaurant, where guests can have a drink and treat themselves to freshly made, hand-tossed pizza or a catch of the day.
