Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley launches four epicurean weekends

The luxury venue will partner with culinary specialists including Italian winemaker Gai Gaja and the chef and sommelier duo behind Bentley Restaurant + Bar, as well as premium brands such as House of Waterford and R.M. Williams.

Luxury eco-tourism property Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley has announced the launch of four one-off epicurean escapes to take place over the months of July to September. In a bid to showcase the best of the region's local produce head chef Nancy Kinchela will collaborate with visiting culinary experts in a series of weekend packages centred around bespoke food experiences.

Epicurean Escape with the ‘Bentley Boys’

Known more affectionately as the Bentley Boys, the chef and sommelier team behind Bentley Restaurant + Bar will collaborate with in-house chef Nancy Kinchela for a two day epicurean escape. Kinchela will dish up a regionally inspired five-course dinner on Friday night, while Bentley Chef Brent Savage will create Saturday’s degustation, with matching boutique wines provided by sommelier Nick Hildebrandt.

The weekend will run from 28 – 29th July and a A$260 supplement will be required for the Bentley dinner in addition to room cost.

Wine & Dine with Gaia Gaja

Guests with a taste for Piedmonte reds can partake in a five-course truffle inspired dinner paired with award winning wines from Italian vintner Gaia Gaja. Dinner is followed by a cheese and wine tasting hosted by Gaia and resident Sommelier Gary Olsaz.

This one night event will take place on 6th August and a A$260 supplement will be required in addition to room cost.

Waterford Whisky Weekend

This weekend kicks off with a fireside whisky tasting masterclass followed by a degustation dinner with matching whisky blends.  On returning to their villas for the night, guests will discover a luxury nightcap served in a Waterford crystal tumbler embossed with their initials.

This weekend will run from 18th-19th August and a A$200 supplement will be required in addition to room cost.

The Ultimate Australian Weekend

This three-day getaway hosted in collaboration with R.M Williams combines outback activities and rustic barbecued cuisine provided by Firedoor head chef Lennox Hastie. Highlights include a trail ride through the valley, an evening of stargazing and storytelling and dinner cooked over an open fire.

This weekend will run from 18th-19th August and a A$325 supplement will be required in addition to room cost.
