The hotel is located on a peninsula and all pavilions have water views of the River Derwent. Mona is located just north of Hobart, approximately 25 minutes by ferry.

Size and style:

All contemporary pavilions are named after Australian artists (Charles, Arthur, Sidney and Brett) and architects (Roy, Robin, Walter and Esmond). Each pavilion features artworks from the Mona collection.

On site drinking and dining facilities:

Source Restaurant: seasonal local produce presented by executive chef Vince Trim. The Source Restaurant’s wine list features more than ten thousand bottles from around the world. Breakfast in The Source restaurant is included for Pavilion guests.

Wine Bar: serves seasonal treats, share plates, breads and pastries during the day and opens for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday evenings when guests can sample The Golden Hour – a communal dining experience with a 3-course set menu.
Museum Café: coffee, lunch and treats are available at the Café, located at the Museum’s entrance.
Cellar Door: tastings of the full range of Moorilla wine and Moo Brew beer are available at the Cellar Door.
