Land at Queenstown airport and take a luxury transfer car to Blanket Bay, located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Slip straight into relaxation mode with a Manuka honey facial, 90-minute massage or aromatherapy treatment at Blanket Bay Spa. For dinner, sample local delicacies such as Canterbury quail and New Zealand cheeses while seated in the evening dining room on the patio overlooking the sparkling lake.
Stay: Blanket Bay
After a hearty breakfast head to Millbrook and tee off at their award winning championship golf course. Designed by professional golfer Sir Bob Charles, the 27-hole course is set amongst a natural amphitheatre and offers spectacular views of The Remarkables mountain range. Post-game, satiate your appetite with a late long lunch at The Hole in One café housed in the original farm stables; one of Millbrook’s four on-site restaurants. Watch the sunset while soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi or enjoy a game of twilight tennis.
Stretch your limbs with an early morning yoga class then take a luxury car to Kawarau Bridge Bungy. Here you can fling yourself, head-first, off the 43-metre-high suspension bridge and into the Kawarau river below. Alternatively, swoop down from Bob’s Peak on a zipline or take a thrilling jet boat ride through the narrow gorges of the Shotover River. Calm the adrenaline at Amisfield Winery with a glass of their signature pinot noir and for dinner order from their ‘Trust the chef’, produce-driven Bistro menu.
Stay: Matakauri Lodge

Allow your hosts at Matakauri Lodge to fill your day with a heli-fly-fishing adventure that sees a personal guide whisk you away to a remote river and teach you the techniques of fly-fishing. If catching trout isn’t on your do to list, embark on a Meet the Artist tour where you are chaperoned inland to Central Otago and its local artist community. Here you will spend time in the homes, gardens and studios of the region’s artists before visiting the local wineries and enjoying lunch.

Take a helicopter to your luxury chalet at Minaret Station Alpine Lodge. Set in a glacial valley, this alpine experience in the South Island offers a range of heli-adventures over the snow-capped surrounds as well as guided hunting trips for big game through the region's terrain. For lunch head to the remote Mountain Kitchen (accessible only by helicopter) and a three-course gourmet meal created by a team of resident chefs.
After a final gourmet breakfast take the helicopter back to Queenstown in time to catch a domestic or international flight.
